Eric Shenkman
Guitar Tour of Duty 1997-2000
  • Born December 12, 1963
  • Eric began his musical carrer at the age of 3, studying violin till he was 7, and then switching over to guitar which became his passion.
  • Born into a musical family, Eric's mother is a flutist. His father, Peter Schenkman played cello with the St. Lewis, Boston, and Toronto Symphony Orchestras. Peter has performed with Gordon Lightfoot. Eric's grandfather, Edgar Schenkman won teh 1917 viola contest at Carnegie Hall. He was the Conductor for the Richmond, Virginia Orchestra.
  • Eric has performed and recorded with Natalie Merchant (Tigerlilly), Jack Bruce, Charles Neville, Fernando Saunders ( A Free Jazz Band), Phoebe Snow, and Carly Simon.
  • The founder of the Spin Doctors, Eric coined the name, and wrote the classic hits, "Two Princes", "Jimmy Olsen Blues", and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong". He left the Spin Doctors in 1994 after four album releases and multi-platinum status.

Noel Redding

Bass Tour of Duty 1997- 2002

  • Born: Noel Redding on December 25, 1945 in Folkstone,Kent England
  • Noel started playing music at the tender age of nine studying violin,mandolin then guitar, He played in bands such as The Lonley Ones,The Burnettes who later became the The Loving Kind who recorded a single with John Lennon's father
  • After these early endeavors Noel's chance encounter with Chas Chandler from Eric Burdon and the Animals cemented his his legacy in rock n' roll history when he became the bass player for the a ground breaking guitarist named Jimi Hendrix. Together they formed the Jimi Hendrix Experience with drummer Mitch Mitchell. Well, the rest is music history.In 1992 The Jimi Hendrix Experience was inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame
  • Noel continued to work with various groups in the 70's and 80's,The Brain Police, Road,and The Noel Redding Band with members from Thin Lizzy
  • Noel was asked to record and tour with Mountain in 1993
  • Subsequently in 1994 when working with Eddie Kramer at Electric Ladyland studio on a Symphonic Work of Jimi Hendrix, Noel and Corky Laing ran into Eric Shenkman of the Spin Doctors. Their mututal musical interests and friendship planted the roots for the formation of Cork
Mark White
Bass Tour of Duty 1999-2000
  • Born July 7, 1962 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.
  • A multi-faceted musician whose talents include bass, guitar, keyboards, trumpet, and vocals. His studio skills include arranging and producing.
  • Mark has performed and recorded on over 33 albums, including The Spin Doctors, where he is a founding member.
  • Mark's solo albums include 1994 - Life, 1998 -Tunch, 1998 - 5 guitars, 50 Fingers.
  • The Classic album, Stone free : A tribute to Jimi Hendrix, includes Mark and the Spin Doctors performing the Hendrix classic Spanish Castle Magic.
  • Mark White's outstanding musicianship and dedication will be sorely missed. "We miss you Mark" -CORK.
Charlie Karp

Guitar Tour of Duty 1999 - 2002

  • Born: Charles Karp on April 13, 53 in Washington , D.C.
  • In 1968 Charlie signed with ABC records at age 16, it was the beginning of a long career
  • At age 17 he toured with drummer Buddy Miles from the Jimi Hendrix's(Band of Gypsys) for two years with top headliners including Jimi Hendrix
  • He played on most Buddy Miles records including his hit song Them Changes
  • Through the seventies to present Charlie has worked, recorded and written for numerous artists Danny(Kootch)Korcthmar, Joan Jett, Joe Perry, Meatloaf, David Johanssen,Ram Jam(Black Betty),KeithRichards etc.
  • Charlie just finished the musical score for the A&E documentary on legendary rock promoter impresario Bill Graham
Richie Scarlet

Ed Canova

  • Born April 26, 1949 in Staten Island, New York
  • A journeyman musician with over 34 years of experience, Ed's musical skills include bass guitar, vocals, and acoustic guitar.
  • He has worked in the local and pro music circuit performing with many of the New York groups including The Anges (My Boyfriend's Back), The Chaperones, and Steam (Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye).
  • Ed, a rock solid Bassist, has performed with many musical legends including; Leslie West, Rickie Byrd, Larry Carlton, Charlie Karp, Jon Pousette- Dart, and Noel Redding.
Windsor (Tito) Pediford II

  • Born March 6, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York
  • Tito comes from a gifted musical family whose mother taught him piano and father played Trumpet. His cousin, legendary Richie Havens took Tito under his wing and instructed him in many instruments as well as the music business. Tito is proficient with the bass guitar, acoustic bass, African and Latin percussion, piano, keyboards, vibraphone, and drums. He performed in the all-city orchestra and attended the Julliard Preparatory School.
  • From 1967 to 1975, Tito performed as a sideman in many of New Yorks finest clubs including: The Blue Coronet, club Baby Grand, and The Flamingo for such artists as Mongo Santamaria, King Curtis, Joe Cuba, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Mandrill as a percussionist.
  • The 1980's saw Tito in his own projects including his own group Zenith, distributed thru Columbia records. He produced and played with the group and did a few world tours.
  • The 1990's have been very busy years for Tito. He has played in many original bands and been a session player on other artist's albums. Tito's accomplishments include: keyboards for The Affect, The Fullhand Band, Fullmoon, Steam and percussion for Amel Larrieux of Groove Theory.
